I began making tote bags as a practical way of transporting my artwork to galleries and local events.. Other artists and vendors started asking about my bags. Upon learning that I made them myself, I began receiving requests for other styles and sizes. I branched out into reversible Hobo styles and smaller shoulder bags. I used the same fabric (mostly upholstery and outside canvas) to make a line of durable No-Tie Aprons. Following visits to regional wine festivals, I decided to design and assemble original wine sling lanyards. I enjoy envisioning and designing a new project as well as the challenge of troubleshooting difficulties associated with completing the job.
